River Rocks 2016
The 6th annual River Rocks Festival will be held on Saturday, April 9th at Canalside, overlooking the Columbia Canal and Broad River. This event is Congaree Riverkeeper's largest fundraiser of the year and a celebration of our rivers and the work we do to protect them.
This year's festival will feature live music from five great bands: Sol Driven Train, Dank, The Marcus King Band, Empire Strikes Brass, and Debbie & the Skanks.
The festival will have several food vendors including The Wurst Wagen, LowCo Barbecue, Poultry in Motion, The San Jose Taco Truck and Rita's Italian Ice. We will also be serving a variety of SweetWater Brewing Company beers.
There will be activities for kids including a bounce house, rock climbing wall, balloon art, face painting, as well as environmental education.
While the festival site had to be moved to Canalside because of the flood, parking will be the same as previous years. Attendees can park at the Riverfront Park lot on Laurel Street or the garage on Williams Street.
Tickets to River Rocks are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the festival. You can purchase advance tickets at Adventure Carolina, Get Your Gear On, River Runner, The Backpacker, Half Moon Outfitters and Papa Jazz Record Shoppe or online here.
